After his succesful last visit to London on October 2009, American composer Scott Alan has announced that he will hold an intimate concert at the Delfont Room of the Prince of Wales Theatre on March 13, 2010 (23h).

Entitled ‘Just Me... and a Piano... and Him... and Her’, Scott Alan will perform songs from his two released albums (‘Dreaming Wide Awake’ and ‘Keys’), from his shows PIECE and THE WARMTH OF THE WOMB and from his next album, only accompanied by a piano. Alan will be joined by two special West End surprise guests. Only those who attend the concert will know who are these special guests.
 
Scott Alan made his West End debut on September 2008 with the concert ‘Never Neverland: The Music Of Scott Alan’. A year later, the music of this young composer could be hear again live in London. The concert ‘Just Me... and Them: The Music of Scott Alan’  took place on October 11 at Leicester Square Theatre. Several West End artists performed songs from Alan’s two released albums accompanied at the piano by the composer.
 
Scott Alan’s music will be played again in London on Sunday 31th January: the New Players Theatre is offering ‘The Distance We Have Come... The Music of Scott Alan!’, with performances by some young West End artists (Gina Beck, Natalie Taylor Grey, Amelia Adams-Pearce, Raff-Riff, Beth Morrisey-Yardley, Adam Strong, David Ribi and Nicola Henderson). On this occasion, Scott Alan will not be in the concert.
 
Alan Scott has become popular among fans of the genre thanks to his albums ‘Dreaming Wide Awake’ and ‘Keys´. On these albums, some top Broadway artists sing Alan’s melodious songs. Currently, the young composer is working on his third studio album, ‘What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up‘.
 
‘Just Me... and a Piano... and Him... and Her’ is part of the ‘Live in the Delfont Room’ cicle, that this season also includes performances by Hannah Waddingham (January 30), Leanne Jones (March 6) and Verona Chard Band (April 24).
