She has starred in West End musicals as GREASE, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK, LES MISÉRABLES o CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. She has also star in the UK tour production of MARY POPPINS.

Her professional debut in Musical Theatre was in 1997, performing the role of Marty in GREASE, at the Cambridge Theatre.

Other theatre credits in the West End include INTO THE WOODS at the Donmar Warehouse; MAMMA MIA! (Original London Cast, understudying the role of Sophie); THE WITCHES OF EASWICK  at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane (Jennifer Gabriel); LES MISÉRABLES at the Palace Theatre (Eponine); GREASE at the Victoria Palace (Sandy); and CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG at the London Palladium (Truly Scrimptious). She performed Philia in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM at the National Theatre; and Susan Walker in ONECE A LIFETIME. Sheen originated the role of Carrie in THREE SIDES at the Finborough theatre and also performed the role when the musical went to New York as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2006. She returned to the Finborough to perform in Adam Guettel’s MYTHS AND HYMNS. In 2008 Sheen performed as Mary Poppins in the UK/international tour of MARY POPPINS and in May 2009 she played the role of Clara Johnson in the European Premiere production of Adam Guettel’s THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA.
Sheen was a guest soloist in the opening ceremony of the Cardiff Wales Millenium Centre. Other solo concert work includes ‘Night of a Thousand Voices’ at the Royal Albert Hall, ‘Michael Ball and Friends’ at the Royal Opera House, ‘An Evening with Jason Robert Brown´, and ´Georgia Stitt and Friends in Concert’. In 2008 she appeared alongside fellow Mary Poppins actresses Lisa O´Hare and Scarlett Strallen in ‘A Spoonful of Stiles and Drewe’ singing a specially devised version of “Practically Perfect”.

Currently she has just released her solo album debut, ‘Raise the Curtain’, a compelling selection of songs by leading contemporary musical theatre writers from Britain and America. Beginning February 11, 2010 she will reprise the role of Mary Poppins in the United States national tour of the Show.

- Do you keep the programmes of the musicals you watch? I used to, but I have sooooo many now I just look up the details on the websites instead!

- The worst moment you’ve had live on the stage was: (as a performer and/or as a spectator) When I fell flat on my bum in “Step in Time” in MARY POPPINS – not “practically perfect” at all!

- An unforgettable moment: (as a performer and/or as a spectator) Being in THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA listening to Adam Guettel playing and singing in rehearsals.

- Do you have any superstitions before the opening night? Not really, but I refuse to wear green as I think it’s unlucky.

- A character of your opposite sex that you would like to perform: Barnum – My great great grandmother worked in the circus!

- What do you like best/least about your work? The insecurity is difficult but when exciting things happen then it can’t be beaten!

- What is your favorite musical movie? MARY POPPINS!

- The last CD/DVD related to Musicals that you have bought is: Stephanie J Blocks solo album.

- What is your favorite line from a musical: “You’re not alone” (from “Love to Me” in LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA)

- Agree or disagree with TV Shows finding new Musical Stars: Both, they have their benefits and their bad points.

- You feel proud of: Anything my husband does.

- Of this moment you’re living as an actress, the most important thing to you is: Happiness.
